McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife rehabilitation facility and permanent home to over two hundred native or exotic animals. Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, we have been closed to the public since March 20, 2020. During this time, our only funding is coming from donations.

Mark McCarthy

Mark McCarthy has worked professionally with animals since 1972. He has performed over 6,000 wildlife programs reaching over 500,000 students in South Florida. He has taken in over 5,000 injured native animals and saved the lives of hundreds. In 1990, Mark founded McCarthys Wildlife Sanctury.
