The dollar amount needed to provide services to incarcerated female veterans is $5000 to start. That will help get tools and items for females coming home from prisons, such as clothing,  emergency services for temporary rooms and food vouchers. In my campaign, I am asking for funding to support the needs of incarcerated female veterans coming out of incarceration and suffering from mental illness and drug abuse an need of support with getting acclimated to society. We offer Counseling services, budgeting classes, internet an social media classes, basic needs services. Food vouchers and temporary motel vouchers.

Shonette Dixon-Parrilla is a very hard working dedicated professional woman that has a passion to help women in prison. Shonette is a single mother of 6 children and decided to open up an organization to help incarcerated female veterans in 2007, she went back to school to obtain a degree for the purpose of running a business. Her passion has led her to work in the field of human services dealing with individuals from all walks of life suffering from mental illness drug abuse concentrated on opiate addictio
