The Lactation Station aims to support and empower mothers in our small town community by equipping them with knowledge prenatally and postpartum.  Knowledge is power.  Hands-on help with infant care in all aspects is priceless.  It will have a ripple effect for generations to come.  Too many mothers struggle with feeding and bonding with their babies.  They don’t have the information or support necessary to do so.  Mothers suffer in isolation postpartum.  They need each other.  The Lactation Station is seeking funding to cover the rental expenses for a space in our town where mothers can come comfortably and receive all of the support outlined above, in person from a registered nurse and internationally board-certified lactation consultant.
