The Youth in New Orleans need a start with future job skills, life skills,  and resources that would give our youth an opportunity at a brighter future. We lack the funding  to provide these skills and donating to Taking  Back Our Youth will be a start to show our youth that they are organizations that truly believe in them.Taking Back Our Youth envisions a community where our youth are taking back from the streets and back into classrooms. We must nurture them, educate them, and protect them. We must prepare and protect them for the future so that they can one day prepare to protect us.” This donation is greatly appreciated and know that you are saving at-risk youth on the streets of New Orleans.

As we know our youth are the future and we need to invest more in them. New Orleans is an urban community that has seen an alarming crime rate of juveniles. The resources that are needed will help deter some of these issues by simply putting in place a court order program holding youth accountable.

Danna Lloyd, a proud resident of the great New Orleans. Currently is an educator, head girls basketball coach, and a mentor in the community. She holds a B.A. in political science and a M.A in criminal justice from Southern University at New Orleans. She also is the mother of three beautiful children ages 14,18 and 21. Her passion as a juvenile advocate also inspire her to author four urban fiction books and a juvenile justice curriculum workbook which address many challenges of our youth. As a former juv
