As an old saying goes: “You can give a man a fish and he can eat for a day or you can teach that man how to fish and he can eat for a lifetime.”

Our organization focuses on creating equitable and innovative programs that will disrupt the cycles of poverty, promote self-sufficiency, and engage over-represented community members with authentic ownership of resources, that will allow them to see themselves within the organizations that are providing services to our most vulnerable community members. We are committed to addressing the social, cultural, environmental, emotional, and economic conditions that low-income marginalized community members live in. Operating like an organism with clear political views we use data, black psychology, and applied metrics to dismantle social inequities. “Those who do not know history are destined to repeat it”- Edmund Burke. Studying history through the lenses of Maslow’s hierarchy and holistic approaches allows us to continue to break down systemic barriers, while using trauma informed practices to bring awareness to cultural indifferences in a human centric manner.
