We have a nonprofit organization that helps women get on their feet after completing drug treatment programs. Most when they are released do not have money to support themselves and donations would cover their portion of the rent while they are looking for employment. If they are not sponsored, because they have no money or support they are dropped off at the homeless shelters where they are quickly reintroduced to drugs and have a high chance of relapsing. Providing a stable safe environment free from drugs and assist them with job search assistance while they work towards being a positive member of the community while maintaining their sobriety. Donations would help cover shelter, food, lights, water, gas, clothing, bus fare to get back and forth to interviews and appointments, personal hygiene items, tissue and paper towels, etc.  Donations are needed urgently

Sober Living Transitional Homes

Shavon Patterson, on behalf of

Shurrun's House

I am asking for donations because this is a great cause for helping women become positive members of the community after drug addiction treatment. The house is created so they can get on their feet while maintaining their sobriety. Support from donors and the community would assist our organization.

Shavon Patterson

Founder of 501c3 approved nonprofit sober living home for women. I saw a need in the community for more places women can turn to after being in drug treatment centers and have decided to live a life of sobriety. We provide a home where they are able to get on their feet with our assistance.
