Our Loving Hearts Inc started in 2020. I was feeding the homeless and I didn't have enough. I felt so bad. I prayed about the situation, and God spoke to me to start this nonprofit. This was something I've always wanted to do. Well, God and I had this conversation for 3 days: Me. No one will listen to me or follow me. God: This is not about you. This is my will. You are a vessel that I will work through to help others.

So, here I am. We feed the homeless once or twice a month. We prepare food boxes for seniors in my neighborhood at Trinity Towers. We also prepare food for disabled persons who live at Friendly Heights Apartments in Decatur.  We give out clothes, hand sanitizer, masks, and school supplies to our community. We try to help each person according to their needs. I have learned to be content with my life, but most of all I have learned to be a giver. I have learned to care for others and to be kind to people that I meet as I move through life. We are all one check away from homelessness. And After my stay at Decatur senior's facility, I've learned that things happen to you when you least expect them to. I want to be someone that my God can say,  " Job well done, my good and faithful servant."  And I also want to be proud of myself.

Your donations will help provide school supplies for children, feed the homeless, and provide senior food boxes.

Loretta Wilkins, on behalf of

Our Loving Hearts Inc.

Donation Needed: We are feeding the homeless, including the children, providing clothes, and we are providing seniors with food boxes, (seniors get $13-$22 in food stamps). Helping All in need.

Loretta Wilkins

Loretta is a kind person who does her best to give to others less fortunate than herself. She works hard to be fair to everyone. She started this program to help feed the homeless, then she started giving out food boxes to the seniors. Afterward one of the seniors she knows mentioned the cost of food and how she doesnt receive food stamps. Once she started this, it became clear to help the community as a whole. This includes giving school supplies to the children in the community, giving out clothing and any other items needed.
