We need your help we are on the brink of closing due to a lack of financial support that we are in need of in order to remain open. We provide care for our disabled senior veterans. We have homes that we provide 24-hour care in and we have reached out to the city, to the new school and to everybody. No one has helped or returned any calls or emails. We need some higher help to keep our loved ones out of the streets, out of the hospitals, out of the community, out of nursing homes and rehabs. We help empty out hospitals and provide a sanctuary for these loved veterans and disabled seniors. But we can't do it alone. We are a locally owned and run business, in which we provide a place of comfort and safety for our elderly and veterans. Our goal is to assist our clients in maintaining their independence while also providing twenty-four hour care. Our services extend to include hospice care as well. We need the community to help to pay for utilities, food, and hygienic needs. We can't do it alone We need your help, even if just $5.

Here at  A Hand in Need, we have three homes in which clients are provided a bed, either in a private room or a shared space. We are staffed by Personal Care Assistants as well as Certified Nursing Assistants. We also have on-call nursing staff. Our caregivers will assist the clients with their activities of daily living(ADLs), medication reminders, meal prep, and daily and weekly cleaning. This is to provide our clients with a sense of self. In order to further promote client independence, we have scheduled activity times to promote movement and reduce stagnation throughout the day. We also schedule small events throughout the month in which our clients may choose to participate. Having a sense of community has proven invaluable to our clients. Hospice patients are also provided around-the-clock care, where we monitor their needs and provide comfort and solace in their coming days.

Our Staff and Administration understand the concerns of both clients and their families, striving to provide peace of mind for families and above-standard care for clients.

I will be sending these emails out to anyone that might help us please feel free to reach us 757-372-3359 or email us at A Hand In Need LLC where no hand gets turned away. Please help us stay open.
