My name is Wendolynn Allen, missionary to New Orleans and southeastern Louisiana. I moved here 10 years ago (August 2, 2008) empowered by a vision from God. As he told Habakkuk, “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end — it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay” (Habakkuk 2:2-3), I have also written down the vision He gave me.
I have entitled that vision Fit4eternity Enterprises.
Fit4Eternity Enterprises will bridge the gap between the community and resources for success. To accomplish its goal, Fit4Eternity Enterprises will parent four separate entities which will be established in a process of three phases: (1) The Winner’s Circle Athletic Outreach and Development Center, (2) GreatWorks Fitness, (3) Arise International Ministries, and (4) Thy Kingdom Come Bed & Breakfast.
The first phase will develop and establish The Winner’s Circle Athletic Outreach and Development Center. The conceptualization of The Winner’s Circle Athletic Outreach and Development Center was begun in 2004 with the summer program offered by GreatWorks Fitness (Sole Proprietorship operated in Austin, TX) to middle school athletes known as The Winner’s Circle Strength & Explosive Power Conditioning Camp. The purpose of the program is to assist young athletes in getting quality training in sport-related activities so that they may become better athletes or just simply have a better grasp of understanding basic fitness necessities. As The Winner’s Circle expands to the broader scale of Athletic Outreach and Development Center, the purpose of serving youth athletes remains the same, but the vision enlarges to include conditioning and technical training for all sports as well as a study center for youth to complete homework either before or after athletic training as well as character building activities. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one tutoring as needed. The goal is not only to expand the production of quality athletes in southeastern Louisiana, but to teach them to be well-rounded and have a solid education undergirding them to improve post-secondary opportunities.
Mission Statement: The Winner’s Circle Athletic Outreach and Development Center will harvest the youth of New Orleans to excel in education, leadership, and spiritual fervor, ensuring that everyone is impacted by the Truth of the Word of God.
At this time, only the business plans for The Winner’s Circle Athletic Outreach and Development Center and GreatWorks Fitness are being prepared and will be available soon. The business plans for the two other suggested entities, Arise International Ministries and Thy Kingdom Come Bed & Breakfast, will be made available within the next three to five years.
The current situation is the need to purchase property to house the project. I have located a building that is in need of renovations and would comfortably house Fit4Eternity Enterprises L3C. This particular building sits on 2.6 acres of land and is an old strip mall located in a neighborhood in East New Orleans, LA. The current structure is 41,686 square-feet, which is ample enough space to house the four divisions of Fit4Eternity Enterprises as well as allow leasable space to local businesses for profit.
By purchasing and renovating property in New Orleans East, F4E will assist the city of New Orleans in its restoration efforts of a formerly well -stablished and high-traffic area. The restoration of this abandoned strip mall will increase the appeal of the surrounding neighborhood for both residents and visitors. Additionally, this project will effectively reach out to the adult population that is in need of fitness and wellness education as well. The remaining leasable space will be occupied by a physical therapy clinic, which has already given a verbal word of intent to lease beginning in May 2019, and a franchise selling healthy living products (i.e., Smoothie King or Main Squeeze Juice Co. franchise), the details of which are currently being discussed.
If you would like more information concerning the overall project that Fit4Eternity Enterprises L3C is pursuing, please contact me at the information provided in this site.
