Provide Retreat For Christian Ministers

Crowning Jewels Villa is primarily about restoring family.  Specifically, families of Christian Ministers.  The main purpose is to establish a resort style retreat for these ministers, so that they can unwind and reconnect with the Spirit of God in a (preferably) remote location. We hope to provide the much needed rest to them, recognizing the toll that running a ministry takes. For all intents and purposes, ministry is a 24/7 job. We were just plain sick and tired of seeing ministers step away from their calling, or even worse, hearing about ministers taking their own life, leaving behind a spouse and children in some cases.  As we moved forward with this entity, the mission was expanded to include assisting ministers, evangelists, etc by providing funds to help their ministries, funds to help pay for vacations, and funds to help establish self sustaining businesses, so they wouldn't need to rely solely on donations to achieve their mandate. Lastly, providing any sort of consulting or teaching services such as teaching videos, than can help their ministry.  Expanding the scope of Crowning Jewels Villa was a natural step for us, as we realized we had been doing these things already, outside of the non-profit arena.  We had donated vehicles to evangelists.  One was a pickup truck that is used in a contracting business of an ex-drug addict turned Man of God, that could not secure a vehicle.  We gave all of our personal home furnishings to an ex drug dealer turned street evangelist and all of our tools to her ex gang member husband so he could start a contracting business. This power couple hits the streets and prisons on a regular basis in their evangelical ministry.  We've purchased tents for tent revivals, luggage for traveling ministers and paid for fuel and accommodations for many Men and Woman of God, as they were doing God's will.  The list goes on and on.  This all came from our personal funds, and we hope to expand this to a full time ministry of our own.  Securing an initial property or funding to buy a multi-acre property is key, as we would expand it to not only be a retreat, but a self-sustaining farmstead.  So, I urge you, instead of throwing dollars away to fight specific problems, such as poverty, etc, use those dollars to assist the people on the ground who are changing people's mentalities, so that the recurring problems of society an be changed for good.
