Beat the Streets, Inc introduced the Next Steps Program, which provides resources and support services to young adults within continuation/alternative high school and/or adult schools in education, employment, and life skills. Whether a student is looking to seek employment, go to college or become an entrepreneur, we offer resources to help them with their desired path.

In education to ensure young adults complete their high school education or GED. Education is the solid foundation needed in any career.  We encourage to achieve higher education through attendance in college to further their education, as well as provide basic computer knowledge and experience. Having college education and basic computer knowledge provide skills to function in employment endeavors and allows for various professional opportunities. We mentor and tutor on applying themselves in college.

We provide vocational training for employment seeking, resume preparation, and interview preparedness, in their path to employment. We also offer resources to obtain clothing for employment.

For entrepreneurs, to partner them with professionals in their desired professions, to not only learn the ropes, but also to identify if they have a preference within the field.

Our need of $9k is to pay for three months of operating expenses, which includes a deposit, monthly rent, insurance, and internet services and for 2 P/T staff's payroll Your funds will help us, relocate and get our services to at-risk youth and young adults who otherwise lack such skills and resources.

Your generous contribution is greatly appreciated. It takes a village!!
