William Lowery, on behalf of

LGMD-1D DNAJB6 Foundation

Orphan genetic diseases get little attention or funding. Since patients are scattered around the United States, one has to locate these individuals and pay for their transportation to the neurology study center. Study funding does not cover these expenses thus private funding is needed.

William Lowery

William Lowery M.D. is a pulmonary physician practicing in the Bay Area. His interests include cures for genetic diseases including an orphan disease called limb girdle muscular dystrophy which affects his family lineage and others. Support is needed for bringing patients to neurology centers.
