Toumai Aid is a US 501 (c)3 non-profit organization created in Maryland in May 2018. Its mission is to assist the vulnerable populations in rural areas of Chad, Central Africa. Through its educational and healthcare programs, the organization aims to improve the well-being of disadvantaged people, especially women and children in remote places, and provide them with assistance in education, healthcare, clean water, and microfinance.
This crowdfunding campaign is to raise funds for the Mbagti Elementary School Project. Â Mbagti's Elementary School, located miles outside of Moundou, Chad, was created in 1991 with funds from community people. But since its creation, the school has faced many difficulties, most of which are due to the lack of teaching materials, the lack of adequate infrastructure, and the lack of financial means. The classrooms do not have desks for students who sit on bricks.
The school has four classrooms without windows, and five teachers, two of whom share a classroom. The teachers lack pens, pencils, notebooks, chalks, and books to teach. In addition, the teachers sometimes go for months without receiving their salaries because of the economic problems the country encounters.
The project has four phases, and the funds will be used for activities in all phases.
In Phase 1, the funds will be used to buy teaching materials and help pay the teachers' salaries.
In Phase 2, the funding of a water well and two latrines.
In Phase 3, the purchase of desks and chairs for students.Â
In Phase 4, adding windows to the classrooms, build an additional classroom for the fifth teacher, build a library and equip it with books.

Thank you very much Toumai Aid for all of your work to help vulnerable population in Chad. Education is the key of liberty.
Thanks Toumaï Aid for the efforts to promote access to basic education in Chad. As John Dewey, the great American philosopher, said "education is not preparation for life, it’s life itself."
Thanks for the wonderful work you do for Chadian children
Great initiative. Keep up the good work!
Every child deserves a good education regardless of where they live. Developing countries lack infrastructure, especially in education and healthcare. This is a great project that will support the education of underserved children in Chad, and I encourage anyone who reads this message to donate to this noble cause. I'm glad I can make a difference :)
