Many child care centers do not hire staff who have skills to deal with children who have special needs. Nor do they specialize in dealing with children who are in need of that extra care and or the knowledge and special training to care for a diverse group of children. Too many children are receiving poor quality care while out of supervision of parents due to lack of understanding because of their individual needs. Also, parents are having to schedule appointments for their child to be seen in other clinics, doctor appointments, etc. instead of having on-site therapist who can assist them on a day-to-day basis. Ordinary child care centers do not provide these types of services. Parents are not confidant that their child or children are in the hands of well trained, knowledgeable teachers who can deal with their child's situation individually. . All Kids Learning Center will have an on-site therapist that will allow parents to make appointments for their child to be seen individually for counseling or treatment because of their special needs. This service alone will save the parents time from having to take off work in order to make weekly therapy appointments. Parents would be allowed to sit in on sessions, schedule an appointment to discuss the child's progress or choose to be updated by paper. 'All Kids Learning Center' would not just cater to special needs but "All Kids". The center will promote an inclusive child care setting which will allow children of all physical, emotional, and academic abilities be cared for in the same environment. Children will be given the same opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace while recognizing their strength's, needs and have a strong sense of connectedness and belonging among each other. Having an inclusion center also helps to develop a sense of belonging, having shared experiences with a diverse group of peers, encourages sensitivity and understanding towards others.
