On a visit to a school one summer in Haiti, I was playing with the children when I stopped for a water break, a sip from my water bottle. A little girl looked and asked me quietly, "may I have some?" With a heavy heart, I had to say no, with nothing to offer. That was the last time I picked up a bottle of water while out on mission working with children.
I knew then how I was going to do my part to help. I started looking into how much it cost to build wells in Haiti. It took 3 years with the Covid pandemic halting life, for it all to get started.
Then the birth of Le Soleil De Vie, and my first water project was completed in November of 2021.
