I am going to explain this the best way I know how this is going to be long so bear with me please.  In all honesty I am asking for money to help relocate my family to another state. My daughter Isabel is deaf and hard of hearing. She does wear cochlear implants to help assist her in hearing.

The last few years have been extremely hard. Isabel who is now 6 has been kicked out of many daycares here in Florida for behavior related incidences. whether that is hitting, kicking, biting or throwing her shoes at you. This behavior has caused me (mom) not to be able to work while Isabel is at school. Isabel goes to school such a short period of time I don't have enough time to work a 9 to 5. I complete side jobs for money. I'll work for postmates for a few hours and also do this with my kids in the car. A part time job doesn't make sense Ill make the same amount working a side job and I have flexibility for my daughter if I need it like when she has doctors appointments which is pretty often. Isabel goes to the doctor a minimum of 1 time a week and I drive 40 miles to the nearest doctor.

So, this past year of 2018 I had many evaluations done which include psychoeducational evaluations and psychiatric ones as well. The DIAGNOSIS for Isabel was ADHD and Conduct disorder. I also found out from the neurologist that Isabel has damage to the white matter of her brain which could be due to oxygen deprivation when she was born. Isabel was born 26 weeks 1 lbs 4oz. So, all of the doctors are coming to the conclusion Isabel's behavior may be due to the fact she has minor brain damage.

These are just a tiny tidbit of what has been going on medically. The next part is academically. I am in Miami Dade county so I had to put Isabel in the public school system here. Isabel is in what's called a total communication class which is where the teacher speaks oral language and speak ASL at the same time. (remember I told you Isabel has cochlear implants so she can hear and speak a little).

Because of Isabel's behavior I have come up against many challenges with the school system. It has cost me a lot of heart ache and I am truly tired. The school system ignores my daughter. She does need more help academically with professionals but here in Miami there is no such things as a BA (behavioral therapist) who speaks sign language or even a BA who deals with non verbal children wont help. No one wants to be responsible if the treatment they provide doesn't work.

I also asked the school to help with getting my daughter a one on one paraprofessional in the class room. The principal said and THIS is a direct quote from her mouth. "we can apply for a paraprofessional for your daughter but she probably wont get approved because I have children here worse than your daughter that never have been approved."

So, since I am not going to raise the money to get  lawyer to fight them. I'd rather ask you to help me relocate to a place I can truly help my daughter Isabel. She is beautiful and bright but she needs a lot of specials professional attention that I can get for free.

I also tried Florida school for the deaf and blind and they denied Isabel because her behavior is not manageable.

We will be relocating from Miami, Florida to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The school I will be taking my daughter to is Presley Ridge School for the deaf. This particular school helps with deaf children with behavioral problems. I will also be able to get a full time job and become stable for my children.

The money will be used for first car repairs. I need a new torque converter and all season tires. Since I will be moving there to PA it is extremely cold and I'll need to buy clothes for myself and my children. The rest of the money will go to the u-haul to carry my things there. and also a new apartment. which will include first, last and deposit and at least two months up front to cover cost while I find a job. Please find it in your heart to help our family out of this place. Miami is the worst place to raise your children especially if you have a disabled child and no family to help you.
