*Although equivalency testing preparation is our foundation, we would be remiss to stop there.*

The Mission Of Computers4Reuse is to focus on keeping reusable items out of our landfills and we accomplish this by making a difference through our IT training for the community, recycling and refurbishing initiatives.  It is our determination to keep harmful components from computers and other electronics out of the landfill, in accomplishing this; we help both the environment and the community.

We are seeking $40,000 because we also provide comprehensive technology classes in recycling, refurbishing and computer training.  These training resources better enable our students to translate their educational achievements into vocational and professional success.  At a time when approximately 20% of our city is living below the poverty line and around 8% of our city is unemployed, it is imperative that we reach out and lift up those in our community who are motivated to better themselves but simply lack the resources and opportunities to do so.

Help us make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.  Your donation to our 501(C)3 charitable organization will expand, reach and positively impact both our students and our city.  Yet, about 80% of our students are referred to us from Connect-2-Help (2-1-1) also called the “Emergency Hotline”.
