Good day,

I am earnestly asking for your donation of $ 4,950..00, This money, when received will be used to attend the ISTE Conference in Philadelphia from June 22nd to the 27th, 2019. I would like to attend the conference to gain additional information on coding to better educate my student. I presently teach coding to all my students, from kindergarten to the sixth grade.  This technological world we are living in makes it imperative to learn how to use technology and master it. The field of coding is lacking a lot of professional. Therefore, if all schools educate our students with the fundamentals coding, we will produce career-ready students. Who can then apply the skill taught to their everyday living?

This school year our school has created a pod session during the afternoon session of the day. During the pod sessions, I teach fourth-grade students how to create and program Lego Wedo 2.0. This has exposed the students to a variety of career that are available. When we create lessons they are relevant to real-world experiences. Also, when teaching the student I facilitate them and encourage them to use the peer share strategy.

Thanks in advance for your contribution.

I am asking for $4,950.00 because I would like to gain additional coding information to better prepare my students. We are living in a technically inclined world. Therefore, learning and practicing the fundamentals of coding will increase my students' computational thinking skills.

I am, Sherline Louis, the technology teacher at the Claude O. Markoe Elementary School, I am in need of funding to attend the ISTE Conference in Philadelphia from June 22nd to 27th, 2019. This school year I am teaching all my students from grade kg to 6th grades the fundamentals of Coding. Yet, I am in need of additional coding training. I know the workshops presented at this conference will provide the extra knowledge needed. In 2017, the U.S. Virgin Islands were hit by two category 5 hurricanes. Howeve
