I hate it.  You hate it.  We all hate it, cyberbegging, yet, here I am.

As I sit typing this, we are packing our belongings, but sorting and deciding what is important that we want to keep. The yes, no, maybe if we have room. Sometimes tearful and every now and then we find something that makes us laugh. Reassuring each other that things will get better.

I have family locally, not the sense of the typical family where one brings a U-Haul, one supplies storage, and you go to your parents.  No, mine is like that scene from Forest Gump when he gets on the bus and all the kids put their legs and books down in the seats and say “You can't sit here.”

But I digress, each reassurance to the other becomes a bit more distant and hollow.  We are faced with so much uncertainty because 10 hours, for the first time ever, we will be homeless.

What happened is this…. Got laid off,  font 2 teeth broke from an auto accident (shouldn’t matter, but it does), haven’t found work, not from lack of trying, Loss of other income got behind on rent and received notice to vacate,  car broke down and  got evicted last week.. all we have is husband’s disability.

Here is where we stand. I got a very promising 2nd interview next Wednesday and this will be quite a bit less than what I have made in the past, but it would beat a blank. Jackie’s friend gave him an SUV, but it needs a radiator.

What I am doing, I am continuing to put in applications….and

I want a plan B.  No, not the one from the pharmacy, I need something more than working for another person, I need something in case I get laid off,  because I never want to depend that unemployment is actually there for my benefit.  I want to work toward self- sufficiency. So….

I am in the process of building a website to provide online services to companies such as Excel automation, dashboard reports, analytics, business intelligence tools, data migration, etc. as well as, delivering Excel training 1-on-1 with the platform such as Skype, and getting things I need for marketing.  I am hoping this will grow so I can be a mentor to in my position.

And….

At the urging of others am going to have a book published about my experiences, written with 100 percent transparency and I remember everything.

So, here is what I am asking: Right now, we have nowhere to go, except the vehicle, I now have an eviction so apartment living is out, but, I have a long-term affordable solution

The Breakdown:

I know I can get a mobile home for approx. $3000 at auction,

Land $12000…but only requesting around $2000 owner finance.

My keys on my laptop are jumping ship…. $300 used.

get a new radiator for the automobile $300

Web hosting for my website approx. $200

My goal is around $5800, but anything would help at this point, anything more would go toward helping others toward finding self-sufficiency.
