Willyetta Mitchell

Dr. Willyetta Mitchell is a professional science educator with extensive experience in program development, program management, professional development, adult education, and community outreach. As a community organizer, she partnered with Wanda McCargo to develop a Community Learning Center in a low-income area in NC, developed a STEM Academy in rural North Carolina, and more. She and her family moved to rural Plaquemine, Louisiana and she is currently working to meet the needs of the community.
