As an Architect, designer creator, I see first hand the problems that we face with homelessness across this nation. I often ask myself, why does this problem continue to exist after years of it being addressed? Someone is always  speaking about the homeless problem. It could be an individual, a Priest, a Politician or a Congressman. It has been an issues for years, but it still exists. Non-profits have been created across the nation to address homelessness, but the problem of homelessness continues to plague us.  One thing  comes to mind right away as to why this problem still exists, that is, The approval process.

As we all know the approval process involved in getting new construction completed can be painstakingly , lengthy, arduous and expensive. Whether you are a Non-profit or a government institution the process for approval remains the same. I have chosen to address this issue by designing, preapproved prefabricated housing units made from recycled shipping containers. This preapproval, prefabricated process saves months versus  losing months having to seek approval on different individual houses with different designs  and Floor plans. Having a 1 bedroom 1 bath model which has the ability to be stacked or clamped together to create additional space, makes the entire process much simpler, shorter and less expensive .

Recycled Containers have a particular advantage in that:

  • They can be more cost-effective than traditional housing. You can purchase a container home for as low as $10,000. ...
  • They're quick to construct. ...
  • They're modular homes. ...
  • They're durable. ...
  • They can be mobile.
  • I am seeking donations so that I can get this process started to building these preapproved units which can then be simply shipped and distributed nationwide, to Homeless Individuals and Families , Fire Victims and disaster relief.
  • Please donate to my Campaign.
