Our story dates back to the 1800's. It all started with the Hmong migrating from China to places like, Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos. Our Hmong people has suffered through many wars, including the Vietnam War. We were a part of the Secret War that took place in Vietnam. Our elders fought alongside with USA against the communist of Vietnam. We lost so many lives, our homeland, our possessions, and our livelihood. Many ran for their lives on foot to migrate to Thailand and into concentration camps. Hmong became refugees in Thailand. Many fled to the United States of America for a better life in an opportunistic country.  We no longer have a homeland to call our own an we no longer have a place to signify who we were and where we came from. The organization will create a place to educate the public of how the Hmong lived back in Laos. Sharing the daily tasks of how the Hmong people did to survive on a daily basis. We want to educate the younger generation about the history of the Hmong people. Our main goal is to have a place where many of the older generation of Hmong can be proud of where they came from. To mark in history of who they were before migrating to another country.  Our mission is to have an outdoor museum. There will be huts and rice fields. There will also be seasonal activities to take place on the land. We are focusing on developing the land in Pine City, MN.  The funds will be going towards the importance of installing a flag on the land field. The flag will symbolize the Hmong people's heart of yearning for a homeland. The main goal is to have the flag to be installed in the year of 2022.
