Your donation will replace the existing roof. The internal work that is needed includes replacing a portion of the ceiling, floors, and walls. The building is structurally sound, but much water damage has occured and your donations will help repair all of these mentioned. When restoration is completed, the foundation is hoping to get approval from the local diocese, to open the doors for everyone to encounter Jesus through Eucharistic Adoration, and prayer.
St. Peter's Church, has been a foundational church in Oconto, since 1852. We are asking everyone to help, financially, and in any way possible, to help keep this beautiful structure a part of the rich history in this community.
Our current financial needs are paying for the remaining roof costs, and associated labor costs. Our president Troy Fonder has been tirelessly working on the roof along with a group of men every day for the past few weeks. The foundation is also in need of inside ceiling repair( plaster) equipment rental, and labor costs for that portion of the restoration.
I will continue to update on progress of the project. I will share pictures of each portion of the restoration, and I will give detailed information on where every dollar is being used.
Thank you for your help, and generosity, on this extraordinary undertaking. We believe that this calling from the Lord will touch. and change lives. This is not only the history of the community, it is also the future. This representation of the love of Christ, and His church, will continue through His people. And, that, my friends, is us!
We are the church.

Perpetual Covenant Foundation Inc
Perpetual Covenant Foundation was formed in 1999 after the church closed by the local Catholic diocese, due to the purposed structural issues. Since that time, the church has not been in use, and has sustained roof damage. And from this damage, the interior ceilings are also in need of work at this time.
This was my church growing up! Lot’s of great memories here.
I wanna see St. Peters last unlike St. Joes.
Hate to see it get tore down. Need this monument to stay standing.
You wouldn't ask if it wasn't worthwhile.
I love this church!
Faith and beauty
This was the church I grew up in.
