The Crossover House provides a leadership-centric and restorative residential community for women who are survivors of domestic violence and other life-controlling addictions. In Tennessee alone, over 77,000 cases of domestically violent offenses were reported in 2017. Of these cases, 71.5% of reported victims were female.  Research overwhelmingly reports that women involved in abusive relationships are less likely to have money for continuing education, due to the tactics used by abusive partners to control or limit social situations.

You can join us as we help survivors of domestic violence and other life-controlling addictions break free from the cycle. We stand alongside women, ages 18 or older, and provide a program and residential home for those desiring freedom from abusive relationships. The CrossOver House services a two-year transition program, where we battle the lack of opportunity these women have had, by providing individualized leadership plans for success.

Job training is provided to women in the areas of aquaponics, construction, plumbing, and/or food services. We also assist residents with acquiring the necessary skills, information, and direction they need to pursue careers in medicine, law, and education. Their leadership plans are uniquely designed with a net outcome of employability and sustainability as they become strong pillars in our community. With this employment training and transition time for recovery, our residents are able to tap into our country's resources, as they learn to overcome an impoverished mindset to barriers that preclude accountability and responsibility.

Any funds we raise will be used exclusively for housing expenses, nutrition, transportation, and health management for our residents. We will also use funds to help our residents with job training and the acquisition of post-secondary skills.

CrossOver House

Tennessee is listed as one of the top 10 states with the most domestic abuse cases. Many of these victims report that an abusive partner has limited their ability to complete an education. We are here to help with education, employment, housing placement and to provide a complete recovery program.
