Our agency, New Beginnings, is a minority 501(C)3 tax exempt corporation. We provide housing for the mentally ill. We leased a 12-unit apartment building that had many defects. We have worked on those repairs, but have run into a major problem - our water pipes are frozen. As a result, we have 10 persons without hot or cold water. We must replace the hot water tanks and galvanize pipe throughout the building to restore water. We need money to get this done. Once this work is completed, we will provide housing for 25 additional persons and 15 working clients. We need 15 twin-size beds with railings for our homeless working clients who have no discernible income. It is 10 degrees above zero. We do not like to beg, but we need your financial help today.

Today is Monday. Our water pipes are still frozen. As I previously indicated, we have little or no money to get the work done. We have to purchase hanging heaters and install them into the basement ceiling to thaw the pipes. That costs money. Today, we discovered a leak from the roof over a furnaces causing the furnace flame out.
Additionally, we have burst water pipes on the south side of the building's six apartments, we had to vacate those apartments and relocate our clients to other programs effectively devastating our finances.
We are asking each person to contribute $10 or more dollars as a means of helping us to achieve getting the work done. This would allow us to reoccupy the building. We cannot borrow money if we are not credit worthy. Ten ($10) is not very much to donate.
We are going to participate in a DROPSHIP PROGRAM. This program will allow you to purchase any item of your choice. When you make a purchase, a small amount of the payment will go towards our fundraising goal. Please buy something.
We must raise $5,000 by January 31, 2018 to get the initial work (Purchase hanging heaters, thaw water pipes, repair busted water pipes etc.) done. We consider this Phase I of our Project. Purchasing something from our Dropship Program will go a long ways towards helping us to raise the needed funds to effect our repairs.
