Since my release from prison in 1993 I have worked with nonprofit and religious organizations to help improve the lives of the downtrodden: the homeless, the hungry, juvenile delinquents, ex-felons, abused women and children, individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, etc; and I have witnessed many success stories. However, the need is great, because many nonprofit and religious organizations don't have the means to hire a full-time grant writer/fundraiser to find the funds necessary to fulfil their missions; therefore, I have started Grants4U, a consulting and grant writing business to provide low cost grant research/writing and fundraising services.

I need seed money to establish and maintain the business website, for advertising, professional memberships, and to provide pro bono services to nonprofit and religious organizations which have a zero fundraising budget. This will enable me to use my education and expertise for the greater good of serving others without the limitations of being employed by one organization. Working for one nonprofit I raised more than $1,000,000 annually with $1,000,000 matching funds to meet a $6,000,000 budget for three consecutive years, therefore, with seed money to establish Grants4U I will help multiple organizations fulfill their missions to help those in our communities who have the greatest need.

Help Me, Help Those In Need

Rodney Sutton, RODNEY on behalf of

Grants4U

I was a juvenile delinquent, convicted felon and left for dead, but God had other plans. I became an advocate for the downtrodden. I would like to take my education and experience and help nonprofit and religious organizations fulfill their missions. I can only do so with seed money for my business.

Rodney Sutton

Rodney L. Sutton, Sr., was born and raised in poverty in Akron, Ohio, by a single mother with four siblings. He was expected to be dead or in prison by age 21. Rodney overcame the odds and was the first in his family to receive a college degree. He has since used his time and talents to help others.
