Our goal at Ones Story is to provide a safe and dry environment for our homeless veterans.  With the home that is provided, comes clothing, resources, classes and all the benefits that they are entitled too.   The shelters/homes are more intimate and safe than most shelters.  Security are provided 24/7.  Examinations are provided as well at the local VA and medical physical that volunteer their services.   Ones Story do have help from other local nonprofits, however Ones Story runs solely on donations.  We have both paid employees and volunteers that are accessible to the veterans to ensure they are trained for job interviews, assist with getting back on their feet with an apartment and the furniture needed.  Hygiene items and food are provided, but again Ones Story is solely ran by donations.

Your $25 donation will purchase a comfort care package for a homeless veteran including a sleeping bag, pillow, personal protective equipment, and some snacks.
