Our program is for high school students to get their hands on a project and learn how to completely restore a farm tractor. Students are required to restore a tractor, keep detailed records that are turned in in the form of a record book, and present an oral presentation on their project. At the completion of the project, the tractor is theirs to keep and do with as they please. They are also given the opportunity to display their project at the county fair for 10 days, as well as participate in parades and other events throughout the state of California. We are so grateful to live in a community that loves and supports this program and has helped over 100 students over the past 18 years to donate their time and expertise in teaching high school students about basic mechanical work. However, we are short on funds to provide the awards for the students. We know how much hard work (typically around 300 hours) goes into these projects and we want to honor the students with awards that are so deserving. We typically provide hats, jackets, and buckles as well as all of the oil and filters for the students. We are extremely excited to have our largest group of contestants this year, with 10 students, but with that comes more costs to support all of the students. Please consider donating to our program to help these students receive the honor they deserve.

Thank you.

Rachel Dewar, on behalf of

JB Dewar's Tractor Restoration Education Program

We would love some help in funding the awards that these students so deserve. Each student who completes the project is awarded a jacket and belt buckle, and with the growing number of students in our program, we could use help in paying for these awards.

Rachel Dewar

Rachel has ran JB Dewars Tractor Restoration Education Program for the past three years. She loves watching these high school students grow in their oral, mechanical, and life skills.
