Sonnie helped many families and friends in his community. Sonnies House was formed to continue the legacy of Louis Sonnie Elie. Sonnies House will continue to carry out the mission of being a Beacon of Hope for the community of Shreveport, Louisiana. Sonnies House will feed homeless veterans and ex-offenders coming home from incarceration. Sonnies House will also provide shelter and support services for the community of Shreveport, Louisiana.
