The Mahdah Urf initiative and purpose was created to raise awareness and to create fundraising support for hurricane relief in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean; particularly for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and coastline communities. An integral part of our movement is a general focus to Creating on average, 400 "Rootical Village" culture hubs around the world to memorialize the "Countdown to 2020".
To kick off our Climate Change expansion we have created a Series of Groundbreaking Conference Sessions and Benefit Concerts in preparation for an evenly explosive 2020 agenda, events to commence July 30 and 31, 2019 respectively. The Series is designed to inform, promote expansion, inclusion, and diversity in the circular economy of the Climate Change industries; by assisting the most vulnerable statuses brought on by the negative effects of Climate Change. A process designed to teaching resilience and responsibility for the future well-being of the planet, pursuant to the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.
We are in dire need of additional resources to complete our mission. Hence, we are reaching out for additional support.
Our fundamental efforts to deliver on these Series is comprised of support of Bermuda, Los Angeles and Jamaica-based promoters using the recent addition of reggae music to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List to drive the initiative.
Together, the Groundbreaking Conference Sessions and the Danger Zone Border Splash "Benefit Concert Series" will commence on July 30 and 31 respectively. The Groundbreaking Conference Sessions will feature Speakers on the effects and dynamics of climate change. The organizers have produced their own reggae anthem called "Mahdah Urf" production spearheaded by Circle of Humanity Co-founder Qadree El-Amin and inspired by the original song called "Earth" by American rapper Lil Dicky in support of the Leonardo Dicaprio Foundation. A live performance of this song will be accommodated at the Geneva, Switzerland July 31 event. We would love to have your participation.
