SDGRCD needs $150,000.00 to provide transitional housing, food, life skills training, and empowerment  to orphans and disadvantaged people for a short and long term (one year).

The organization will offer assistance to all needy Congolese Nationals, irrespective of age, frequently homeless, as they move from dependent, often abusive relationships into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles.

It will assist in child reunification and education, personal development planning, vocational development , substance abuse prevention , interpersonal skill development , personal and spiritual development , community involvement, creative leisure activities /celebration , and independent living preparation /follow up.

The organization will improve and upgrade the well-being of Congolese Nationals residing in South Africa, in both urban and rural areas through community based advocacy in areas of HIV/AIDS awareness , education and environment . 

SDGRCD will use the fund to buy:

1. Property( to be used as a shelter ): R1,500,000.00

2. Assorted furniture, furnishings, and additional accessories . 

3. Seven desk/chairs, computers , and additional accessories . 

4. A computer server, two laser printers, broadband internet connection.

5. Fax machine and copier.

6. Several file cabinets and shelving units.

7. Paper shredder.

8. Projector and screen.

9. Car.
