The Ideal of A Place for Khloe Inc was developed based on the experiences of a young lady that made mistakes, but fought her way through trauma to build a successful life. She lost her mother at 18 years old, and became a mother at a young age. Now that her mother was gone, she was left out in the world with no direction and a young child. She felt as if she had lost everything that was dear to her.

She had no place to turn because she no longer had the guidance of her mother. She suffered from alcoholism as a result of depression. She did not know what she was going to do with her life. She received advice; some good, some bad. She later became forced to face tough decisions for the sake of her daughter. She had no education, therefore she had to work a part-time job that did not pay very well. Being determined, she continued with the job which later (approximately 2 years) she became full time. She was then able to receive benefits from her job. Still battling with alcoholism, she lost her licenses. She was then left to hitchhike back and forth to work in a very rural area. She was often overcharged for fuel money as she was in a vulnerable position and forced to pay in order to keep her job. Her job was gracious enough to see the potential in her  therefore they did not terminate her. She was tired of the stagnation and was determined to get her life on track.

Through her determination, she was later promoted to an office position which then increased her income. She was determined to build a home for her family, which led her to home ownership classes. She became a home owner at 30 years of age.  She received her GED at 34 years old and continued to get a bachelors degree in business administration. Although her hard work and determination put her in a better position, she just felt like she could have been there sooner had she had the proper guidance throughout her life. Having a lack of mentorship caused her to make bad decisions. It took some time, but she eventually was able to find her way. She is now a Human Resource Manager at a transit company and feels as if she owes it to the world to help individuals transition to a life of fulfillment without having to make bad choices and mistakes as she did.

A Place for Khloe Inc is designed to mentor people. The program will teach individuals how to transition into a life that is comfortable by teaching basic structured survival skills. Many people in the world today will tell you that I am where I am because of hard work and dedication; this may be true. Unfortunately they never give us a road map to follow. This is a recipe for failure. A Place for Khloe Inc is that road map. We start by setting realistic goals and following through with them. We must learn to view life through a different set of lenses, and that is the mission of this organization.  We will give individuals step by step guidance which will teach them to become self-sufficient citizens. We believe that it's not about the mistakes we make, It's about  the rebuilding determination.  A Place for Khloe will give individuals the foundation they need to build on, and we believe that together we can!
