Mr. Stewart was born and raised in the Berkeley, California right outside of San Francisco in a single parent household. Surrounded by drugs, physical and mental abuse he was determined not to be just another negative statistic. He soon realized the world was larger than the street corners. Life was a journey that required preparation, endurance, and patience. Mr. Stewart realized that his daily challenge was to rise above mediocrity and do more than just get by. His positive and determined mindset guided him out of the streets into the path of wise mentors that served as guides and motivators to help him navigate from despair to success. Being exposed to new and diverse opportunities turned his life around into a positive direction. The confidence Mr. Stewart gained through these experiences has culminated into C.A.R.E. Mr. Stewart’s life challenges and successes are the woven into the fabric of the C.A.R.E. program. He has translated his turnaround into relatable and impactful curriculum that has a proven approach to successfully reach at-risk and disadvantaged youth of all ages. His Strategic partnership with Live Oak Computer Science has provided the opportunity to give the undeserved skills and ethics that could lead to a mental and financial empowerment they would have not been able to reach. We currently have 50 students that need sponsorship at only $350.00. Our program is 1yr long and they will experience character training , branded t-shirt, tech trips as well as learn the basics of coding (building websites, video games and more) we also have a virtual model integrated so anyone can join in as long as they have a computer(we can provide) and internet service. This is a wonderful opportunity that I wish I had when I was a kid. We are always looking for partners to enhance the lives of everyone served. Our heart is to Empower the Person and Impact the World.
