Children's Ward For A Village Clinic

IMAGHE  is seeking to raise at least $15000 to build a children's ward for an already existing clinic at an underserved community in the Central region of Ghana called Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya constituency. Bawjiase is one of the rural areas in Ghana with a population of about 12000 residents with most residents below the poverty line and mostly illiterates. The current clinic furnace the community with their healthcare needs with limited supplies and accommodation. There has been a recent rise in childbirth in the community yet there is not enough room to house these many children and the various ailments they present.  This project is to secure a 1500 square foot children's ward with at least a 5-bed sleeping ward, a nurse's station, a doctor's office, an exam room, and a dispensary. The 1500 square foot building would cost approximately $9000 ( Building materials, cement, cement blocks, wood, sand, etc). The remaining $6000  would be used to purchase beds, equipment, baby scales. bassinets carts, medical carts, furniture, etc to fully equip the building.
