The Patient Better Project needs your support to help educate the 80 million Americans who suffer from healthcare illiteracy. This silent epidemic wreaks havoc on our already strained healthcare system and its ripple effects continue to profoundly impact fellow patients, families, and essentially everyone else involved in care. Your contribution will immensely help us to connect with patients and their families and teach them how to become more self-reliant in their care as well as ease the enormous pressure off our afflicted health system.

Our mission

The Patient Better Project’s mission is to bring meaningful healthcare education who clinicians coined as the “hard-to-reach” people who deliver at-home care. These patients and caregivers often live in rural areas, are older, and aside from a smart phone or iPad, have limited access to the internet. The Patient Better Project has created means and focuses on reaching these individuals (who often lack formal training and deliver care services to another without pay) to learn how to become the most valuable healthcare advocate.

Our vision

Using our online platform and a formula of proven concepts and ideas, The Patient Better Project will drastically reduce that number within the next five years by targeting the most affected population - our underserved. Utilizing the opportunities offered by social media, we will inexpensively focus on extending our reach and providing meaningful healthcare education to ensure this population-in-need can thrive in today's medical landscape and make informed healthcare decisions.

Why we need you

We need to structure this nonprofit organization in a way that will focus solely on our health illiteracy epidemic plaguing the United States and getting our program in the hands of our underserved. You can help by simply knowing how to provide your patients, families, and informal caregivers on essential health literacy education.
