Our mission is applying realistic life skills to prevent youth homelessness which in most instances became homeless less than six months of aging out. Youths age out with virtually no skills to become gainfully employed, no money management training, and no opportunity for permanent housing.

The Corona-virus is best described by Montgomery County Commissioner Carolyn Rice and Dayton City Commissioner Matt Joseph said both governments are trying to help people and businesses navigate the health crisis, unemployment, food needs and other problems related to the pandemic even as tax revenues plunge. By law, both governments must balance their budgets and the county has already announced $18 million in cuts.
Adults are suffering from these effects, but adults have more reliance, experience, will power, and determination for survival. When the adult has a rough road, youths seem to reach out to drugs and crime, which causes communities to suffer more by paying for their incarceration.
The program is focused on changing not only the mainstream of education but to change the mindset, the personal ambitions to succeed and take on the challenges that life has in store for our youths. Systematic programs such as educational institutions and homeless shelters as to only offer Band-Aids when the open wound requires stitches therefore decreasing the risk of infection.
The changes will not come right away, but as a society don't we count on the future? Ohio has the chance to be the very first to make an impact on youth, why not be part of that impact, solution, and notoriety that we as a State made that change.
No program has ever included or instituted vocational trade classes for foster youths for remodeling homes for the beautification of poverty-stricken neighborhoods, auto mechanics, auto body repair, welding, culinary skills. No program has placed youths in a facility with in-house learning that students earn credits from an accredited school, and not overwhelm public schools causing overcrowding.
The results of this program could revolutionize the way foster youths are perceived and with the inclusion of “Establishing Industry-Recognized Apprenticeships,” IRAPs are high-quality apprenticeship programs that provide individuals with opportunities to obtain workplace relevant knowledge and progressively advancing skills. The program has been tested and approved by The Department Of Labor.
