There are a lot of problems in the world today. It’s not difficult to see those problems, but especially visible are poverty and food supply insecurity. When we see images or hear stories of people who are suffering, we naturally want to get involved and alleviate their suffering. But when it comes time for us to actually help those in need, we may think that the particular problem or issue is too big for us to solve; we get overwhelmed and do nothing. It’s a common, understandable reaction. However, the thing to remember is that none of us will ever solve the world’s problems, but we can solve the problem for the people within our sphere of influence. We believe that ending a BIG problem starts with a small solution – one person at a time, one relationship at a time. People like us have the opportunity every day to become someone’s answered prayer. It is an awesome responsibility, but it is also a tremendous opportunity for people like us to make a lasting change in the world and change the trajectory of other people’s lives for their lifetime.

One of the world’s biggest problems is poverty and food supply insecurity in particular. There are so many people who are living in poverty who don’t have money for basic needs and food. After day after day, month after month, year after year of living in such extreme poverty, these people can feel as though they’ve been abandoned, forgotten, or both. We have found that coming alongside people in need provides a life preserver of hope. It is a hope that can be the first step down the road to getting out of poverty. But before we strengthen their circumstances, we must strengthen them physically, and that means nourishing them.

We at the Eyeround Foundation have chosen to act, to be that life preserver of hope for those who desperately need it. We are a 501C registered organization, in operation since 2019.  In support of our vision to feed the hungry one meal at a time, our most urgent project is in Northern part of Nigeria, where there is a vast number of people who go hungry every day, due to crisis and now Covid19. The Eyeround Foundation believes that we can all work together to create a world where no one goes to bed hungry. The Eyeround Foundation provides hungry people with nutritious and high-quality food, giving their bodies the nutrients and vitamins that they need in order to stay healthy. Ultimately, we want to eradicate extreme hunger, starvation, and malnutrition in children. We fight these problems by distributing food to poor communities every day through our emergency relief centre.

Eyeround Food Foundation is helping children and families in Africa who are struggling with poverty and don’t know where their next meal will come from. Our emergency relief centre also stands by to provide support to families who have lost their livelihoods or who have suddenly found themselves unable to afford food. The workers there also provide food to hospital patients who cannot afford to pay for their meals during their stay.

As you can imagine, our efforts require funds to help families to feed their children. We are seeking help from you to be a financial partner with us and become part of the solution for the impoverished people in this part of Africa. As a community project, there are selected underserved 40 families in Zangon Kataf Local Government, Kaduna that we want to feed for 40 weeks. These families have nothing to eat, they have been affected by the recent crisis and COVID-19. We need $20,000 to feed these 40 families for 40 weeks. For the first milestone, we are raising $3,000. We will give provide update to raise the second milestone, third and fourth milestones.

Will you help us fulfill our role in being a life preserver of hope?  We need your help to broaden the number of people we can serve, and deepen our supplies so that we are also able to keep our emergency relief centre stocked and operational.

Thank you
